Lilly’s Foods production facility is located in Portland, Oregon, on 12 acres of partially wooded land in Portland’s Kenton neighborhood. Since basing our operation here in 2013 we’ve restored our land to protect native plant, animal, and bird species , and are caretaker to habitation for Oregon beavers (the animal, not the college sports team), red-tailed hawks, bald eagles, geese, rabbits, coyote, deer, many varieties of woodpeckers, lots of birds (it’s wonderful bird watching site).

Our wetland restoration project consists of about 3.5 acres of the land which adjoins a major waterway here in Portland - the Columbia River slough. We planted thousands of native species of trees and shrubs, removed problematic invasive species such as blackberries, scotch broom and english ivy, and now those young trees are flourishing. It’s an ongoing process, we’ve had a visit from our little logger friend the beaver, he is building a dam with fallen tree branches! Just have to set up the night cam to watch his building adventures, and we promise to share that!
