Fresh red bell peppers, tomatoes, and jalapeno peppers are hand roasted over hazelnut-shell briquettes.. Similar to roasting with a hardwood or fruitwood. This imparts a rich, savory roast-y, smokiness unique to the Northwest. No nut meats are used.

Producing fresh weekly in our Portland, Oregon facility, Lilly’s is located on an 11.5 acre parcel where we host a wide variety of native animal and bird species. Our site fully recycles and composts waste, and we are fortunate to be a part of community with a long history of supporting this practice. Reduction of pre-packaged ingredients through cooking our own beans, and roasting fresh vegetables in-house is a part of our mission of environmental sustainability.
